Thursday morning. Wow! Mecca, Nirvana the Holy grail. OK well microprocessors rule! I’m in Rocklin near Sacramento California visiting parallax to attend some training on Friday and the propeller Expo on the weekend. I’m continuing with my Summer of Nerd 2010 see Redmond Web Camp and my tdlMySummerToDoList();
Since I’m here a bit early I stopped by Parallax to say hi and volunteer for some setup, to find out if I could park my camper over night. I guess the volunteer coordinator :-) is out right now. The front desk has my cell phone number if something comes up. Meanwhile I’ve setup Sampson in the parking lot at the largest bowling alley I’ve ever been to. and set myself up an office in the sports bar attached to the alley. They agreed to let me hang out and use the WiFi if I purchase a meal or two! I don’t know if you make out the title on the book I’m reading: “Jquery Novice to Ninja” That’s it for now more as the training and nerd fest continue on through the weekend.
Thursday night quarter ‘till nine
I’m sitting outside of Parallax at the picnic table. What a nerd! I’m using windows live writer to compose this blog offline. And as I finish up with some actual words after inserting the pictures I have about 78% battery left. I better post this while I have signal strength on the wireless and some battery.
Hey what’s with these signs? Pretty moon with bird in flight.
Sampson wasn’t holding still but I like the picture overall. Employee entrance with Sampson and my reflection in the door taking the picture.
OK one more of the moon. 9PM 72% battery.
OK it’s 9:30pm now with 39% battery. Andy Lindsay was just checking all the doors from the inside and opened up for a moment to say hi.
